Answer

When upgrading from the earlier version of the Keysight N1930B PLTS software to the newer N1930xB PLTS software, a legacy USB dongle key will not operate with the upgraded PLTS software.

In order to run the newer N1930xB PLTS application software via a transportable USB dongle based license it is necessary to order the new USB dongle via E8900-D10.

The original N1930B USB dongles do not support the FLEX10 licensing which is required on the latest release of PLTS sold as the N19301B, N19303B, N19305B, N19306B, N19307B.

For legacy N1930B PLTS subscriptions which are still in support, there is a program (i.e. manual process) where Keysight will help customers exchange the old USB dongle for the required E8900-D10 USB dongle.
