Introduction
Abstract:This example illustrates a Plastic Ball Grid Array (PBGA) package solution using FEM simulation in EMPro.In this example, the PBGA Package solution is carried out using a Finite Element Method (FEM) simulation from a Frequency of 0.1 GHz to 10 GHz. The structure has 24 ports. Except lower Z, all other boundary conditions in this example are in the Absorbing state. The lower Z boundary condition is PEC. No field data is available. To get the field data, you need to re-simulate by selecting the Simulation Re-use option and selecting Field Storage option in Frequency Plan> Field Storage.
