LTE 8.5 Compatability Patch for SystemVue 2009.08
Note: If you did not use the SystemVue 2009.05 release, there is no need to continue. This compatibility patch is only for LTE library users upgrading from SystemVue 2009.05. New users can ignore this download.
If you own the W1910 or W1912 libraries from the previous release of SystemVue, the older LTE 8.5 library has been re-compiled for SV2009.08, so that existing workspaces will continue to work while you migrate to the new release. Both 8.5 & 8.6 version LTE libraries use the same license you were given for the W1910 and/or W1912 products. The 8.6 version of these libraries now takes advantage of new "dynamic dataflow" capability in SystemVue 2009.08, among other changes.
Download the .exe file and run it. It will add a LTE_8_5.dll file to your SystemVue 2009.08 Bin directory.
Run SystemVue 2009.08 and open the Library Manager. ("Tools/Library Manager" menu on a schematic page)
Choose "Add from File", change the type from XML to DLL, and browse to the location of the LTE_8_5.dll file. Select the file, and press "Open".
Close the Library Manager.
You should now see both LTE 8.5 and LTE 8.6 parts in your Parts Selector.
EEsof EDA Licensing Software
You can install the license server files separately and independently from any product installation. For example, if your EEsof products are installed on a Windows machine, but your license server is on a Linux machine, you only have to download and install the Linux version of EEsof EDA Licensing Software, not the complete EEsof product installation.
Please refer to the License Setup chapter of your EEsof EDA product's Installation Guide for more information about setting up a license server.
