Notes/Equations
  1. This model is used adjust the instantaneous power of the transmitted signal according to the power control command translated from the TPCBit.
  2. The repeated TPCbit is combined to obtain the TPC command. The majority rule is applied when combining the repeated TPC bit. For example, TPCbit 111001 is translated as 1 to be the power increment indicator while 000011 is taken as 0 for power reduction.
  3. In some cases, such as when marco-diversity is used, power control bits from multiple sources are received. The combining rule is: power is increased only when all sources require power incrementally; otherwise, power will be reduced.
  4. The power control step is expressed in decibel. The initial gain is 1.
